4 Easy Steps to Stress Less this Christmas

4 steps to a Stress Less Christmas. Pictures for Presents with Portrait Innovations studios.
This is a sponsored post with Portrait Innovations. I received complimentary pictures in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own. See Disclosure/Disclaimer for details.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. I love baking cookies, sending cards, and giving gifts to friends and family. Yet even in this wonderful season, the stress of baking, decorating and giving can cast a dark shadow on those colorful Christmas tree lights. I rather not deal with the stresses, but instead focus on the true meaning of Christmas. I have been able to overcome the stress and enjoy the season in 4 Easy steps. It begins with giving pictures for presents at Portrait Innovations.

4 Easy Steps to Stress Less

  1. Make an Appointment for your family to have pictures taken at your nearby Portraits Innovations studio. Simply visit the Portrait Innovations, enter your zip code, select the studio near you. You can schedule appointments online or by phone.

2.Get your pictures taken– be sure to wear seasonal colored clothes. Each Portrait Innovations has a warm and inviting waiting area with oversized couches, chairs, and an activity table to keep the kids occupied. There are also bathrooms and changing rooms for wardrobe changes.

3. Pick out your poses. Your photographer will take several photos of family, individuals, and couples with different backgrounds and props. Your photographer will also help you decide which pictures will fit in your package and giving. You will also choose your photo products. These make great gifts for your “hard to buy” folks. From key chains and puzzles to calendars and mugs. Don’t forget to order your Christmas cards; they have that too! Our photographer, Victoria was really fun. She got the kids smiling and laughing. She was also helpful as we tried to narrow down our poses.

4. Wrap it Up! Your pictures, cards and gifts will be ready in a reasonable time. You will be able to send your Christmas photo cards, wrap the personalized gifts, and decorate your home with your beautiful family pictures.

5. After I wrote this post, I decided to order additional Christmas cards. Portrait Innovations has a website and online gallery that has all your pictures and picture gift suggestions. Well, I ordered the cards, and now 12 days later, I am still waiting for them. I called the customer service number five days after I placed my order and the number didn’t work. Their switchboard operator said the number was having technical problems and to send an email instead. Never received a reply. Contacted them on Facebook and received a generic message about Christmas being a busy time of year. So the bottom line, Always order your photos in the store when you are there. Never order through their online store or you might be like me still waiting for your Christmas cards.

    Hi Rachel!

I think giving photos of the family to other family members that already have “everything” is a great idea! Plus it’s a fun way to capture images of the family for years to come

I know several people on my giving list that will receive pictures. I also used the Christmas/Holiday themed pictures as holiday decor.

  2. You all got some great family photos! I love photo cards at Christmas – to the point I have stacks and stacks of old ones as I can’t bear to throw them out. 🙂

Thank you. I’ve been keeping my photo cards and the ones others send me as well. I need to make a scrap book with all the cards throughout the years.

I definitely agree that photos are great gifts for those “hard to buy” people! Nice pics ☺

Now I need to get frames for the pictures. 🙂
