Businesses Battle over Brews to Help Kids
I received complimentary tickets to this event in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own. Please see disclosure/disclaimer for details.
They had me at craft beer.
Then the plot thickened when I continued reading the email about how 24 local breweries team up with 26 companies in the Triangle to create an original beer. The best part- the event raises money for the non profit organization, Children’s Flight of Hope. Needless to say, I am getting the word out for the 5th annual Hops for Hope (H4H) event on Saturday, September 14th from 2-6 p.m. at the North Hills Midtown Park.
Last year H4H raised over $95,000 to support Children’s Flight of Hope’s mission of providing free air transportation for children in need of specialized medical care. The North Carolina based organization works with the top children’s hospitals around the country. In 2018, they flew nearly 1,000 missions and expect more missions this year. When I first heard about Children’s Flight of Hope, I went to their website and started reading the Stories of Hope , and I couldn’t pick just one story to share. You need to visit their website to truly understand how this organization helps families, and why H4H is such an important fundraising event.
Now that you know about the why’s, let’s talk about the when, where and how much.
General Admission tickets are just $30 and includes a tasting glass to taste all 26 of the beers. Plus listen to local bands, enjoy on-site food trucks, and shop the vendor village. You can take the H4H experience to the next level with a VIP ticket for $75 which includes general admission and exclusive access to Chuy’s patio for food and margaritas. Visit Buy Tickets to order your tickets. I am also giving away 2 tickets to H4H! You can enter to win by Visiting my Instagram page- like the post and tag a friend in the comments to win 2 tickets!
