Encourage 2015

I work well with words, so it seems only fitting that I use one action verb to sum up my blogging goals for 2015. This year, I want Fit Triangle Mom to be your resource and community of Encouragement. I understand your time is limited and there are millions of blogs and media sources to choose from, but my hope is that you will come here. Let your hair down and be honest with yourself. This is a judgement free zone where you can be Encouraged. Your reading, commenting and sharing my blog Encourages me as well.

Encourage 2015

I’m excited about a New Year. It’s like a clean slate to start things fresh. I need to get back into my fitness routine and eating healthy. The holidays were fun and festive, but I ate too many sweets. Lately, I’ve been feeling bored with my workouts, so I will be sharing new ways to spice up your exercises. Eating healthy has always been a struggle of mine since I’m not much of a cook, but this year I’m striving to change that. Maybe take some cooking classes and finding easy healthy recipes to share with you.

January is already shaping up to be a fantastic month filled with many encouraging posts.

    I look forward to the kid friendly activities posting! My little brother are 11 and 12 and my parents are always looking for new things to keep them entertained rather than their Xbox or iPods!

    Also for finding accountability partners for fitness. I’m starting my fitness journey, again, and hope this time to find some individuals who will hold me accountable.

      Thanks, Shanna. My boys love their Wii, but there’s nothing like playing outside, going to a park or exploring the city. I’ve got some fitness challenges in the works to help keep you (myself included) accountable. Thanks for commenting.

  4. Great word for the new year! (As I sit here and snack on dark chocolate peanut M&M’s while I read your post … but dark chocolate & nuts are good for me, right? 😉 ) I’m not much of a cook either. I try hard to rely on easy recipes and our crockpot. And I’m thankful my son loves his veggies as fresh sliced pepper or stove top freezer vegetables are easy & healthy for us. Looking forward to seeing what you have to share in the new year!

      Thanks, Sarah. I categorize dark chocolate as a healthy, sweet snack. I got chili in the crock pot and making cornbread later. Cooking is a work in progress.
