Healthy Snacking…Cucumber Water

cucumber water

It’s been over 2 years now since I kicked the soda habit, and began drinking water on a regular basis. Sometimes when I tell this to people, they automatically assume that water is boring or plain, but water can be flavorful. One of my favorite flavored water recipes is cucumber water. It’s super to easy to make, and it will make you feel fresh and hydrated all day long.

What you will need: 1 large pitcher, water (I prefer bottled water), 1/2 cucumber and apple cider vinegar.

Take 1 large pitcher and pour 4 bottles of water into it. Then take a cucumber and slice it half. Set one half of the cucumber to the side. Take the other half of the cucumber, peel it and cut it into slices. Put the cucumbers in the water.

sliced cucumber I also like to add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar into the water. Apple cider vinegar has many health benefits, and I like how it pairs with the cucumbers and water.

Stir it up and place the pitcher in the fridge. I like my water cold.

I usually pour the cucumber water in my tumbler, so I can sip it throughout the day.

What is your favorite flavored water recipe?

I’m going to try orange slices next. I love adding flavor to water, naturally.
