Jogging into June
I’ve been running a lot this week as I prepare for the Susan G. Komen Race for Cure. I ran 2 miles on Monday and a 5k on Thursday. Unfortunately, it was on the treadmill at the gym due to the rainy weather this week, but it was still two good runs. In between the running, my oldest graduated from kindergarten. I can’t believe how fast this year has gone by. I remember being tear eyed and unsure last July which prompted me to write- A Parent’s Survival Guide for Kindergarten and now this week after learning the ins and outs of the kindergarten experience and writing- What My 6-Year-old Taught Me About Kindergarten.
June is here and our summer break has begun. We are enjoying the time off from school and soccer, and relaxing and playing with the kids. One of my favorite things to do is explore parks, farms, museums and other kid activities. We are blessed to live in such a kid-friendly community within the busy capital city of North Carolina. Be sure to follow my post series- Summer Fun. I’ve also teamed up with a couple of amazing authors by helping them launch their new books. Have a Fabulous Week!
