Lilla Rose- Pretty Easy Hair Clip

Straight hair, permed hair, short hair and long hair; the life cycle of my hair have been varied while my hair styles have been limited. For some reason, I can’t “do” hair. Growing up, I watched my sisters braid and French braid each other’s hair while my uncoordinated hands opted for the pony-tail. I always wondered why I didn’t get the hair styling gene, but after having two boys it all made better sense. I was meant to be a boymom, and I accepted it as fact.

Until…My friend started selling Lilla Rose. At first, I was hesitant about her pretty hair clips. When other friends invited me to their Lilla Rose parties, I simply told them that I didn’t wear hair accessories. Then my friend asked me to write a review about using the hair clip during my workouts and runs. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the Lilla Rose flexi clip was more than a hair accessory, but an actual hair tool plus it was just as easy to put in my hair as an elastic band.

Lilla Rose flexi clip. hair clip that keeps your hair in place and off your neck when you workout. Plus it's pretty.

The Lilla Rose flexi clip is light weight, flexible and pretty (mine has a flower on it). For a body weight or weight lifting workout without jumping and running,  a simple pony tail look will suffice. The clips come in a variety of sizes (mini-mega), styles, and colors to fit your hair type and personal style. My hair tends to be mostly thin and straight, so the the small clip worked best for me. Each clip has three adjustments on the sliding pin.

I found that when I run or add jumping to my exercises that I need a slightly more complex style to keep my hair in place and off my neck. I watched a few You Tube videos and then tried a french twist. I couldn’t perfect the french twist, but landed somewhere between a tails up and french twist. The result– my hair looked nice with the flexi clip and it stayed in place and off my neck during my runs and bouncy workouts.

I’m so glad my friend asked me to review the Lilla Rose flexi clip. I learned that maybe that I’m not as uncoordinated as I thought, and now I can wear hair accessories when I workout or whenever I don’t wear my hair down.
